ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Zero Emission Bus Conference is an annual event hosted by the Center for Transportation and the Environment that brings together transportation leaders from around the world to explore the challenges, opportunities, and best practices for bus electrification. This year's 8th annual ZEB Conference will be held for free online due to COVID-19 outbreak.

The Conference consists of 3 days of battery and fuel cell electric bus programming, with two 1-hour core webinar sessions per day and curated networking forums in the afternoons.

ABOUT THE HOST

The Center for Transportation and the Environment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the health of our climate and communities by bringing people together to develop and commercialize clean, efficient, and sustainable transportation technologies. CTE collaborates with federal, state, and local governments, fleets, and vehicle technology manufacturers to complete our mission. “CTE is excited to offer this year’s conference to an expanded online audience. The free online format allows us to make ZEB knowledge accessible to stakeholders all over the world. We look forward to sharing practical knowledge and creating connections to ensure we successfully develop and commercialize clean transportation technologies. We believe that we can achieve a zero-emission transportation sector as we come together around solutions — for the good of the industry and the planet.”

— Lauren Justice, Development Director, CTE

HISTORY OF THE CONFERENCE

The annual Zero Emission Bus Conference is the premier event for planners, leaders, fleet operators, and technology experts interested in innovating the bus transportation industry with electric vehicle technology. Since 2011, CTE has hosted the ZEB Conference to educate industry professionals with practical information for making smart, informed electric bus and infrastructure decisions. These clean vehicles offer many benefits but bring new considerations that require fleet managers to make intentional, data-driven decisions. The conference’s goal is to bring together hundreds of industry stakeholders to discuss real strategies for transportation innovation and to learn more about how to prepare for electrification at scale.
